Resveratrol

Resveratrol is a plant compound found in the skin of grapes, blueberries, raspberries, and mulberries. It has been widely studied for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Research suggests that resveratrol may prevent the growth of many types of cancer cells and could enhance the effects of several chemotherapy drugs. Its potential anti-cancer effects are believed to be due to its ability to suppress the proliferation of a wide variety of tumour cells, including lymphoid and myeloid cancers, multiple myeloma, and cancers of the breast, prostate, stomach, colon, pancreas, and thyroid.
